1st Valentine

Hello lovely Followers

I have been up since 6:35 am and thought I would go ahead and turn on scandal on hulu and share my Valentines Day with you all. Perfect combo right lol. I hope you all had a lovely Valentines Day or Night yourself,no matter who you spent it with....your boo or your girls and or family. Valentines is the celebration of love and its not necessarily between a couple.

So,
My Vday morning started with a romantic love letter sent from my beau and then gifts from my dad, candy and some bright red combat boots.

After my morning gifts I ended up returning some pants to kart. This has been my go to since I got pregnant  The Love Your Style Plus clothing line has saved me. I have actually not had the energy to thrift like I used to,sooo finding clothes for this growing belly that aren't maternity clothes is a bit more of a challenge but I'm pushing through it.

I got lucky and found 2 shirts and 2 jeans on discount that will grow with me and the baby.The jeans work great with the belly band.

Those were my Vday gifts to myself, lol. 

Fast Track to Vday Evening

My amazing boo knew that I am not a roses gal. I actually do not particularly like flowers as gifts to began with,but I do like gardening and plants. He gave me some beautiful tulips that I will be able to plant soon and will re-bloom next season. He also bought a pregnant woman's dream. A nice large bag filled with all of my cravings...oh yes I was in heaven.

I really loved what I picked out to wear. I made sure everything fit perfectly  I was happy to finally be able to wear my ASOS dress that I bought so long ago. I purchased it too big and it never fit right but now it fits great. I paired it with a thrifted red blazer and thrifted gold belt. I threw on some tan ankle boots that i got from urban outfitters for $15.

We had dinner at Carrabbas. Which was great. My beau ordered Peach Sangria which looked yummy.. Once our food arrived it seems my stomach was not in agreement with Italian that night and I was only able to eat a bite of my chicken parmesan. 

This Valentines Day was amazing. My beau is my first real Valentine. I have never been in a relationship or involved with someone when Valentines Day came around. So this was a treat and I loved every moment. Including when I fell asleep in the car on the way home in the middle of my beau talking lool. I was exhausted. I enjoyed my gifts and my beau enjoyed his. I he was looking mighty fly in his thrifted YSL blazer and tie.
